Peranakan Food
Celebrated post- Xinyi's birthday at Peranakan restaurant in Katong. Din quite catch the restaurant name. But you can find it next to the church at Katong, opposite "wu3 xing1 ji1 fan4".
We had a sumptuous meal, very full. And great food too. The tables next to us were amazed at how much 4 gals could eat... Happens often. Often the case with me and my friends. We order more than normal people.
Go check out the restaurant! It's nice and cosy. And the decor is super traditional.

The place is Peranakan Inn located at 210 East Coast Road, Tel: 64406195. The late President Mr Wee Kim Wee & President Mr S.R. Nathan have patronised that place, you can see their pictures there.The dishes are Otak, Sambal Fish, Sambal Sotong, Assam Prawns (fav.), Ngo Hiang, Bawang Keputing, Ayam Buah Keluah, Sambal KangKong & Nonya Mee (fav.).
