Home Alone

And the whole world's out there on vacation. Dad & mum's out barely a day and I already miss having them at home. Guess I don't like having an empty place to go back to.

Quiet environments apparently doesn't suit me. Come back quick!!

Bee Movie (again) with the kids

They are going home again. And I brought them to watch the Bee Movie. It's Ai-chan's very first movie. Amazing that the kids were very well behaved in the cinema. Loved the way how Ai-chan sat back and relaxed while popping pop-corn. And Kojiro with his mouth wide opened while watching the show. So Kawaii!!!!

Anyway, they are back in Tokyo. Till next time. Miss these kids...

* she loves taking pictures!

* posing with his new idol - the Bee. For a moment, Buzz Lightyear is a thing of the past.
* I really love this one.

Ichiban Boshi

Had a good dinner with my ex-colleagues. I mean of cuz food is normal, but it's so nice to gather & catch up together once in a while.

It's really rare to find such nice people at the workplace that you'd really like to keep in touch. One of the good things that happened in my previous career was to meet some of them. The things that make me happy.

* Chicken curry katsu with cheese set - shared by 2 people

* and my business gozen - erm i finished it up by myself.

Stardust

And I thought this might be a cheap production or eerie movie. The marketing people did a poor job in promoting the show. Thought it was kind of low profile.

But I loved it!! I'm hardly a movie fan, but if you like stuff with some fantasy element, action, comedy and entertainment, this is it!

Michelle Pfeiffer is really the best. She's brilliant as the witch.

C.Turkington

Was waiting at Chevron House for my appointment when.... I was arrowed by the compere of the Aviva road show. Some race is coming up. They have a BMW racing car on display with their racer. Forced me to read out the racer's(Colin Turkington) name, and insisted that I take the cap plus get the autograph. He's quite cute though I have no idea who. Not even a racing fan.

I don't want an AVIVA cap! Give me a Nike, anytime. =P

The best day you have ever known

Instead of waiting and looking back on your life and realizing how great it was, realize how great it is while you're living it. These are the good old days.

This is the time to treasure right now. Don't put off your appreciation for today until some time when all you have of it is a faded memory and a photograph.

You are swimming in a thick sea of overwhelming richness that is this moment. Wake up to how truly blessed you are to be right where you happen to be.

Sure there are frustrations and annoyances, challenges, pains and disappointments. And you have the good fortune of being in a position to transcend every one of them.

Stop wondering what life is all about and start choosing what you are going to make it become. Stop waiting for someone else to make it all better and start taking your own steps to make it uniquely great.

This can be the best day you have ever known. All it takes is for you to decide to make it so.

Miss U Cafe

Had dinner @ Miss U Cafe

Tucked in a row of obsure and ulu location along Upper Changi Rd... It is located in on of the shophouse units.

Small and cosy, they serve western food and wine. Seems like they have very attractive set lunches. Dinner was ala carte though, din see any set dinners.

For a suburban location, it was packed, and you better make ur reservations before going. Recommended for the east side people only. For a moment, I felt like I was somewhere in Bukit Timah...
* Starters: Mixed platter of sausage, chicken, fish, corn & wedges.

* Pesto spaghetti... is very nice. Pesto is difficult to taste bad.. rite?
* brownie with ice-cream.

Idyllic afternoon

Spending an afternoon with great company really brightens your day. Warm and fuzzy weather, good company and nice location. Must do this more often...

Lunch@ Ben & Jerry's Restaurant (Dempsey)

* raised wooden platform * Yummy food. Simple but good.
* me & keith * 2nd round: Tea@ (i can't really remember the name of the place)
* me & Cindy. Al Fresco ... Sun is glaring.
