Letting it out.

I've never done anything evil or harmed anyone in my life. Why do I meet horrible people still?

2nd theme party of the year - MoonCake Party.

It was - Burning Lanterns.
This is ARSON!

House Viewing

Was invited to join in for house viewing. A new terrace house development in the north side.
The below are random pix taken from the 3 showrooms. The decor was really nice, and the layouts were v different. I really liked the colonial style house.Beautiful.

* this is the largest toilet I have ever seen. it's even bigger than the one at Grand Hyatt suite. Din get a better shot though. It's semi-circle, and has a high ceiling with dangling chandelier. omg.

* it seems more value for $ than a penthouse.

Bunion stuff

My bunion footcare has arrived fr US! This may be quite gross to some of u. I must be mad to show my ugly feet. Feel kind of like an alien. But i'm excited to find such a device!

But purpose of this posting is for those who have the same prob know that there are aids around to help alleviate the problem.

And I have this problem as it is genetic. The other cause for bunions wd be poor fit for shoes, or frequent wearing of heels. I happen to unfortunately get it from birth.

* my poor foot. it's always in pain.
And i thot it was normal to have a bunion, until i grew up.

* with the bunion regulator.
it feels like it works!

* how a deformed bone looks like.
(Not mine, but my x-ray looks almost like it)

A lovely wedding dinner.

Was invited to a very cosy wedding dinner this evening at Ritz Carlton. And, was requested my to be an MC with by the wedding couple.

Claimed my makeover session with MAC, and finally i learnt how to tie up my hair! quite dumb actually, for someone has had long hair quite often.

* me and myself. no picture of the couple since it's a private event. definitely gorgeous. the gowns were all custom made - it's damn cool!

I want Keith to custom make for me when the day comes!! Oh, and credit to Keith for lending me the lovely tulip dress.

* table setting
* wedding cake. it's totally edible, and the flowers are real. every single one of them. i saw the bill, it's seriously not cheap. * floral setting on table
* customised chocolate wafer with the couple's name. and special ingredients. * one half of a lovely pair of twins, who shared the table with us. such a bright boy. he eats his greens too. And he's the posterboy of the current STB poster placed around centrepoint area.

* me and glenda. notice i hardly took any pix. because, it was a small family only- and very few friends event. ever heard this cute gal says she loves taking pix. so here we are outside taking pix! wish xinyi and xy were here to take pix!!

* corsage, ang bao for helping out, and the wedding invite.

Penthouse Party

Had a cosy bbq party at my fren'z penthouse. It's bes really flies. Pity not everyone was able to make it that evening. It's been at least half a yr since we last met.

We had the owner be the cook of the evening. A very good meal of bbqed bread, squid, hotdogs, taiwanese hotdogs, marshmallows, and plenty of drinks by the host. Good weather too, such a lovely evening.

* there's also a jacuzzi and a deck chair not in picture.

* The place is very peaceful, and a small development. View is fine too. And, it's a really good buy! A very spacious unit, it spanned 3 stories. A haven from city.

Thursday, September 13

Waraku - Marina Square

* the noodles are like hor fun? but a thicker version. Not really like it. But soup base is nice...

KP009 on Lin Chiling

Another new publicity shot for Keith!

Chiling wore Keith's KP009 at yesterday's OSIM press conference. That's really cool, no longer just Fann. And it's in the Life section today, plus in the news yesterday night.

* Press Conference video clip

The answer to why life can be so difficult at times.

Gloriously Difficult

Life is gloriously difficult. The universe is wonderfully complex.
Every new discovery opens the door for even more discoveries. Every challenge you work through enables you to move on to even greater and more fulfilling challenges.

Instead of fighting against the difficulty, celebrate it. Embrace the challenges and you'll find profound value in them.

Instead of being frustrated and confused by the complexity, dive in and experience its richness. Though you'll never understand it all, you can always understand more.

Circumstances change from moment to moment, and life is continually renewed. Though changes can often be painful, a life with no change at all would be unbearably empty.

With its many ups and downs and twists and turns, life is happening all around you. Remember how truly fortunate you are, take it all in, and make your own special greatness.
-- Ralph Marston

Louis Vuitton - Tribute Patchwork Bag

I guess most of you have seen this currently thought to be the most expensive bag in the world (Price: £3,484).

Always wanted to blog about it, but keep forgetting. So what if brilliant Marc Jacobs had a part to design it. Personally think it's a horrible design and done in bad taste. I'm sure it's targeted at a crass market who wants to show off. It's so loud I cringe.

Who care's about it being expensive. They would have to pay me to carry it.

Another tragic story.

Read this in the Straights times a few days ago and wanted to share the article.

While most of us are healthy and busy working and getting on with our lives, there are others who are unfortunate and struggle along. Count your blessings and take care of your health.

He waited 15 years...and got nothing

He was lying in a hospital bed recuperating from a heart bypass operation when more bad news hit.

Mr Mohamed Jusmi Abdul Hamid was told that given his heart condition, he was no longer in line for a replacement kidney.

He was just 34 years old when his blood pressure shot up and could not be brought down for days. That was when doctors told him his kidneys were failing
