Justina's 21st birthday!

Was invited to my ex-staff's bd party at Aloha Loyang... and on National Day itself... missed the parade on tv though.

* birthday ger! * full of food. This is one of the rare birthday parties that I've got to eat so much! and the bbq food standard was almost like zhi char store. Cool. Feeling bloated from over-eating.

And its the first time I've seen a 2 tiered birthday cake. It really looks more like a wedding cake. * well, we dirtied the place all around... confetti all around.

Asian Kitchen

Had "zha jiang mian" for lunch at Asian Kitchen Vivo City today. Somehow din think it tasted as nice as the first time there. Or is it that Raffle Place has the better cook.

Mum says that the soup base is like instant soup base. Eeks! Should avoid the place then.. But generally not too bad. Not horrible, but no gourmet place...

* had very sinful Arnold's chicken at City Plaza. Half a spring chicken. Lip-smacking good. but.. its so oily! grr. gotta run another 5km to burn it off.

* 腰只面线 - the soup base is like herbal taste. And tastes like there is XO/ some alcohol base inside. Two thumbs up! Gotta go back again for more. The 煮炒seems really good too!

Mercedes Launch

Was invited to the launch of the new C Class coupe this evening. No pictures though... cuz the people there were like really regular to these events. So din want to stick out like a sore thumb by taking pix.

Many were dressed to the nines and you can see some rich taitais hanging around. Not that the event was that glam anyway, was just kinda normal. But its a new experience.

* see the new C Class coupe. not impressive looking... Looks like a regular car to me.
* and I thought I liked SLK best. Till I saw this.. SL Class coupe! And S class saloon is so elegant. I took a picture in the SLK model, but... my phone disappointed me.

The finger food was few and queue was long, so we went to Kent Ridge guild house for dinner... Special of the month was malay hawker. And we ordered too much.

Tuesday dinner - Prego

My 2nd time at Prego's . As expected, the food is great. And the attentive waiters almost drove me nuts. Their service is good, but I kinda received too much attention.

* seafood salad for a starter * vongole * smoked salmon pizza* and kopi at YaKun. Have you noticed that there is a tiny basin tucked at the corner?
